A-MAJOR-KNITWORK is a major yarn shop for all your knitting and crocheting needs.  The shop sells the latest high-fashion yarns alongside high-quality basic yarns, and offers a large selection of needles, accessories, books, leaflets, and buttons.  The owners offer custom charting services and technical help.
WIFI is now available.  Follow us on Facebook, and join our Ravelry Group.

The shop is a perfect spot in the San Fernando Valley where a skein of yarn becomes a-major-knit wearable, snuggable, or giftable.

We're located near Lake Balboa Birmingham High School on the SE corner of Balboa and Vanowen in a strip shopping center behind the Jack-in-the-Box. There is plenty of parking and easy freeway access to both the Ventura (101) and San Diego (405) freeways.

Men Like Yarn and Handmade Things, Too

Celebrated on Sunday, June 19,
but why wait for one day.

Let's start right now. Father's Day is a day to enjoy time with Dad and appreciate all he does for you. Handmade gifts are a true gift of your time.

We met more men this year than last year during the 2016 L.A. County Yarn Crawl. We hope to see you again, soon, and let's start with World Wide Knit in Public Day.

Welcome to the Summer 2016 Carol Feller KAL,
Santa Rosa Plum!

Join us at the shop, plus join an international group of knitters who are purchasing the pattern, selecting yarn for the project, and making gauges. The class begins on June 18. Participating in the KAL is free, but materials must be purchased at the shop.

The sweater is knit from the top down and is seamless. It looks great in solid colors as well as the gradient kit. This is a project for confident and intermediate knitters.

Check Carol's blog for more details.
